Day 0: Arrival in Moshi – Pre-Climb Briefing

Day 1: Lemosho Gate → Mti Mkubwa (Big Tree) Camp

Elevation:2,100m → 2,650m

Begin your trek through lush rainforest with chances to spot colobus monkeys and exotic birds.
A gentle start for your body to adjust.

Day 2: Mti Mkubwa Camp → Shira 2 Camp

Climb steadily through the moorland to reach Shira 2 Camp, passing the scenic Shira Plateau, one of the world’s highest plateaus.

Day 3: Shira 2 Camp → Barranco Camp (via Lava Tower)

Start the climb around midnight. Reach Uhuru Peak, the Roof of Africa, at sunrise. After photos and celebration, carefully descend back to Barafu Camp for rest and recovery.

Day 7: Mweka Camp → Mweka Gate → Moshi Hotel

Continue down to Mweka Gate for registration and receive your summit certificate. Transfer back to your hotel in Moshi for a well-earned shower and celebration.
